windows clients access hdfs

I was a rookie, the latest learning hadoop, hdfs want to build a large file-based storage system. I am using centos build hadoop1.2.0 distributed environment, the data nodes can access via the command line, but I think windows xp-based client access hdfs file system, windows local upload, download, delete the data in hdfs.
